Afghan Hound Nightwind Nobody But Me To Elanegni (Imp Germany) won Best of Breed, Hound Group 1st under judge Mrs Eileen Jackson but then went onto to win BEST IN SHOW under Mr James Finlay (Goldenoak)
Also Whippet "Sita" Barnesmore Let It Be For Elangeni won Best of Breed and Hound Group 3.
Guernsey Kennel Club Spring Show - Mrs Jean Lanning
Aust/Nz Ch Moti Mahal Of Jhanzi (Imp NZ) was Best Of Breed Afghan Hound, Hound Group 3, Best Hound Veteran and then went Res Best Veteran In Show
Also - Whippet "Barnsmore Let It Be For Elangeni" Sita, proves his significance as a sire, with successes achieved by his 2 daughters (Owned and bred by Fiona Officer In Jersey) as follows
Eeri Norwegian Wood (Mistral) was Best Of breed at 20 months and shortlisted in the group
Eeri Autumn Leaves (Laser) won the Hound breeders Cup

at the Royal Jersey Showground, outside in the
glorious sunshine.

wins Best Of Breed, Hound Group 1st, Jersey CC &
Best Stud Dog - Judge Mrs Jill Peak
Later Sita was chosen Reserve Best In Show by Mrs
Brenda Banbury which qualifies him for Crufts and the
Channel Island Dog of the Year competition
Eeri Love Me Do at Elangeni, bred in Jesey by Fiona
Officer, won the Pets as Therapy Stakes under judge
Ron Parkes. This win qualifies "Flyte" for entry to the Finals, held in Buxton, Derbyshire in Nov 08.
Flyte and Sita also won Best Hound Brace under judge Jill Peak
Afghans - Int/Lux/Ger Ch Jacosta Black In A Flash wins Best Of Breed, Hound Group 2nd and the Jersey RCC. Flash also won Best Hound Veteran under judge Jill peak and later Best Veteran In Show under judge Mrs Brenda Banbury which qualifies him for the Channel Island Dog Of The Year copetition.

Flash daughter Marley Ch Nightwind No Woman No Cry Von Harlextan (Imp) won the CAC & CACIB. Well done Julie and Marley. Marley has made 3 trips to Belguim and has been unbeaten in the bitches winning 3 CAC and 2 CACIB's. We have added a new page for Marley on our site.
